Sage Summit 2014 Innovation Sessions

Have you booked your trip to Sage Summit 2014 in Las Vegas yet?  With attendance already north of 6,000, Summit promises to be an entirely new experience for Sage users and business partners this year with a whole new look at how you grow your business from here.

xkzero’s own Paul Ziliak will be a featured speaker from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 30 in the Innovation Theater, on the topic, “Why mobile, why now?  A decision maker’s guide to business success.” When building your conference agenda you will find this as session BUS-503.

But Paul won’t be alone.  Sage has assembled a world class collection of speakers providing unique business and insights.  Scheduled speakers include Biz Stone, Co-Founder of Twitter, Robert Gibbs, former White House Press Secretary to President Barack Obama, Karl Rove, former Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush, Magic JohnsonJessica Alba and more.

And because 6,000 people have at least as many interests, the Sage Summit schedule contains over 400 educational events built around topics such as Business Performance in the Digital Age, Industry Best Practices, Managing Risk and Data Security, Maximizing Your Workforce and Benefits, Navigating the Regulatory Landscape, and Strengthening Sales, Marketing and Customer Relationships.

It really begs the question, while these 6,000 people are in Las Vegas, what will you be doing to grow your business forward?

You’ll also find xkzero as a Sage Summit sponsor on the exhibit hall floor in booth 414.  We hope to see you there!

Sage ERP X3 Version 7—Any Browser, Any Device

We know that you know that xkzero loves mobile technology and the transformative nature it can have for small and mid-sized businesses. You can imagine our excitement when we saw the latest from Sage at the Sage ERP X3 Mobile Conference in Lisbon, Portugal this past May (11-15).

Sage ERP X3 version 7 allows users to access their ERP from any browser, using any device. The keys to this flexibility are the (new) native HTML5 and responsive design. Many functions, dashboards and KPIs will be available out of the box, and Sage promises that customers can render virtually any kind of functionality for their iPhone, iPad, or Android or Windows Mobile device in under an hour. We can’t wait to get our hands on it.

Go where your business takes you

Go where your business takes you.

In Lisbon, at the conclusion of the inaugural demonstration of version 7, the end user customer audience bursted in a spontaneous and sustained standing ovation. We don’t see that kind of enthusiasm at a business conference every day!

Are you looking to grow your manufacturing or distribution business by improving your customer reach and improving the quality of your service?  (Of course you are! Otherwise, you wouldn’t still be reading!)

Because the stakes run high to delight consumers.

Why are we doing mobile?  Because the stakes run high.

I’m paraphrasing Marie Wieck, General Manager, IBM MobileFirst because I think it is a very powerful point and something to be taken seriously, and not just by customer-facing businesses.

“As mobile apps become a primary touchpoint with clients, the stakes run high to delight consumers. At the same time, the cost of a poorly designed app can significantly impact both the brand and the bottom line,” said Marie Wieck, General Manager, IBM MobileFirst.

In other words, it had better be good and it had better work.
